Abstract

At the request of Negro Agey the manumission was recorded on 9 August 1802. Robert Peter of Washington Co., District of Columbia for a "consideration of $200 current money of the United States has released from slavery my Negro woman called Agey being of the age of 35 years... and her two children William and Prissilla this 12 April 1802."
