Abstract

Bill of sale was recorded on 20 November 1810. Sarah Walker of the City of Washington in the District of Columbia, in consideration of natural love and affection for her daughter, Sarah Davis, gives a Negro boy named Jerry for Sarah's life and then to Sarah's children who are "lawful begotten by her present husband, John Davis." Sarah Walker also gives a Negro girl named Hannah to her daughter and her husband, John Davis, during their lives and after their death to the children of Sarah who are "lawful begotten by her present husband, John Davis." Signed on 12 November 1810 by Sarah Walker.
