Know all men by these presents that I Polly Noblam of the county of Rockingham County State of North Carolina have for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and Eighty five Dollars Ninety six cents bargained and sold my right and title of the following Negroes slaves (viz) Reinay a woman slave and her two children Nathan and Virgell and a negroe woman named Sall all of them slaves for life to Thomas Northam of Guilford County to have and to hold my right of in and to the and slaves with there increase to the proper use and benefit of the and Thomas Northam his heirs and assigns for ever in witness whareof I the and Polly Noblam have here unto set my hand and seal this fifth day of August Anno Domminu 1811.
