Know all men by these presents that I James McCauley of the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina for and in Consideration of the Sum of Three Hundred and None Dollars to me in hand paid by Samuel Therr of the Country and State afso. [aforesaid] the receipt whareof I do hereby acknowlodge myself fully satisfied hath Bargained Sold and Delivered ___ these presents Bargain Sell and Deliver to the Sd. [said] Samuel Therr one ___ boy Isaac by name between Ten and Eleven years of Age the property of Said Negro boy I warrant and for ever Defend to be the property of the Said Samuel Therr his Heirs and assigns forever the lawfull Claims or Demand of any person or persons whatsoever witness my hand and seal this 24th of January 1811.
