State of North Carolina Columbus County } Know all men by these presents that I Thomas B. Wooden of the State and County aforesaid for and in Consideration of the sum of three Hundred Dollars in hand paid to me by Isaac Beeson of the State of North Carolina and Guildford County and for the same have bargained sold and delivered and by these presents do bargain sell and deliver unto the Isaac Beeson the following Negro boy by the Name of Robin the said Negro boy I the said Thomas B. Wooden for himself his heirs assigns do warrant and defend to the Isaac Beeson his heirs and assigns for ever against the lawful Claim of any person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this the 15th day of October 1813.
