Know all men by these presents that I James Coots of the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina of and in consideration of the natural love and affection that I bear to my daughter Levina Aydelott, wife Levin Aydelott of the County and State aforesaid do in consequence of this assigns over all my right and Title of a certain Negro girl aged thirteen years named Hannah also to Defend from me my heirs executors and administrators and assigns likewise all person or persons whatsoever to the only proper use and behoof of the above said Levin Aydelott and his heirs forever as witness my hand and seal this seventeenth day of May 1813.
