Know all men by these presents that I William Cusack of the County and State aforesaid. for and in Consideration of the Good will and affection that I bear for my Daughter Thankfull Woodburn doth give grant and by these presents Doth give grant and Confirm one Negro boy Named Joe aged Ten years of age unto the Sd. Thankfull Woodburn the Title of which Negro I the Sd. Wm. Cusack for myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators will warrant and for ever Defend to the Sd. Thankfull Wooburn her Heirs and afsigns for Ever from all and every other person or persons having a legal Claim to the Sd. Negro. In witness whareof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 19 of August 1816
