This indenture witnesseth that I William Cusac for and in Consideration of the Love and good: and affection which I bear to my daughter Esther Woodburn give grant and by these presents, have given and granted deemed and confirmed a Negro man named Charles aged 26 years old the right of which Negroe I warrant and defend unto the Esther Woodburn her heirs and assigns, forever from all and every person having a right claim to the stated Negro Negro in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 19th day of August 1816.
