Know all men by these presents that I Samuel Mayben of Guilford County and State of North Carolina for and in consideration of the sum of these hundred dollars to me in hand paid the right whereof I do acknowledge hath bargain sold and delivered unto William Mayben of the County and State above mentioned one Negro woman named Agg Forty two years old I oblige myself my heirs executors administrators or assigns to relinquish all claim or claims to stated Negro Agg and stated William Mayben his heirs or assigns to peaceable enjoy for ever the stated negro Agg and her future increase in witness I set my hand and Seal this 29th day of February 1817.
