To all people to whome these presents shall come I Andrew Flack Senior of the State of North Carolina and County of Guilford send greeting know ye that I the S. Andrew Flack Senior for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and bear unto my beloved son Elisha Flack of Said State and County and for other good causes me there unto moving have given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the S. Elisha Flack a negroe by Named John about six years old to hold and enjoy all the profits of Said negroe John shall be the property of him the Said Elisha Flack his heirs and assigns executors administrators and forever and I the said Andrew Flack senior my heirs assigns executors administrators do warrant and for ever Defend the Rights and property of said negroe boy John unto the said Elisha Flack his heirs and assigns for ever clear of all incumbrances whatsoever whereunto I set my hand and seal this 28th day of September 1818.
