Know all men by these presents, that I Samuel Fulton for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and bear unto my Son, Alexander Fulton and for diverse other good causes and considerations me hereunto moving have given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the said Alexander Fulton my negro woman slave named Milly aged about thirty years to have and to hold and enjoy the said Negro slave unto the said Alexander Fulton his heirs and assigns for ever and I do hereby warrant and defend the aforesaid Negro Woman and her increase unto the said Alexander Fulton and his heirs and assigns by these presents in witness whereof I have hereinto set my hand of and seal this Eleventh Day of May AD 1820. N.B the said negro woman shall be subject to the control of the said Samuel Fulton and his wife during their lives.
