Between Elizabeth Clapp and Daniel Clapp of the County of Guilford and State of N. Carolina of the one part and Nicholas Coble of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Elizabeth Clapp and Dan Clapp for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said N. Coble the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold unto the said N. Coble a certain Negro Boy named Aaron of the age of 25 years and we the said Elizabeth Clapp and Daniel Clapp for our selves our heirs administrators and executors do by these presents warrant and forever defend the right title and interest of said Negro unto the said N. Coble his heirs and assigns forever in witness where off we have here unto set out hands and seals the day and year above written.
