Know all men by these presents that I, Samuel Fulton, do this day bargain and sell unto Mary Weatherly Widow a Negro girl named Nancy aged between three and four years for and in consideration of the sum of $40 dollars current money paid received in hand the receipt whereof I do acknowledge further I, Samuel Fulton, do warrant and defend unto the S. Mary Weatherly her heirs or assigns the whole right and title of S. Negro girl from the claim or claims of any person or persons forever in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and offered myself August the twenty seventh 1821 State of N. Carolina
