Received this 19th day of July 1821 of Mr. David Lindsay thirty seven dollars and fifty cents in full for boot in exchange of Negroes and Transferred and conveyed unto him a certain Woman by the name of Henney seventeen years of age and her boy child 18 months of age by the name of Jacob the Right and Title of which Negro we do warrant and for ever Defend to be good unto him the said Lindsay his heirs and assigns for ever clear of the just and lawfull claim or claims of any person or persons whatever we do further warrant said negros sound will and healthy to the best of of our knowledge and we do warrant them to the slaves for life as witness our hands and seals the day and date above written.
