Know all men by these presents that we Letitia Humphreys and Henry Humphreys both of the County of Guilford North Carolina do hereby convey unto Ann Eliza Morehead all out right title and interest in and to a certain negro woman Judah and her child Dugnes in pursuance of a gift which said Letitia (formerly Letitia Lindsay) had made in consideration of the natural love which she bare for her daughter the said Ann E. Morehead unto her said Daughter previous to her marriage with the S. Henry Humphreys and the said Henry Humphreys in consideration of the said gift by his Said wife Letitia and the further consideration of one dollar to him in hand paid the right whareof is hereby acknowledged by John M. Morehead husband of the S. Ann E. Morehead doth hereby convey unto the S. Ann E. Morehead all his right title and interest in and to said negro and we the S. Letitia Humphreys and Henry Humphreys do hereby convey unto the S. Ann E. Morehead all our right to Said negroes or the right of either of us and we do warrant and defend unto the Said A.E. Morehead the right in and to the Said negroes and their increase against ourselves and all other persons.
