Know all men by these presents I Manlove Horney of the County and State aforesaid do by these presents for and in consideration of a negro male child named Sam about one years old and this day sold to Abraham Gorset bargain sell clear and convey all his right and title to a set of negroes or family of negroes willed by his father Philip Horney Deceased to different legatees of his estate (viz) Jeffery Philip Samuel Pamela John Salley Nancy and Teressee Horney's and the said Manlove Horney doth by these presents for himself and his heirs agree with the above named legatees their heirs and assigns by virtue of these presents forever to quit claim of his right and title of the above negroes and their issue in witness whereof the Said Manlove Horney hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this tenth day of September AD 1821.
