Know all men by these presents that I John M. Morehead, by Virtue of Deed of Trust to me Executed by Joseph Davis dated 6th February 1823 and of record in the County of Guilford N.C. for the purpous therein. Specified, have this day bargained and Sold Unto Thomas Thompson a negro boy named Frank aged about ten years at the price of one hundred and seventy three dollars. And I hereby convey and transfer all the right title and interest in and to said negro boy Frank which was conveyed to me by said Trust Deed. Witness my hand and seal this 17th November 1824.
