Know all men by these presents that we James Nelson, and Solomon Warren of N. Carolina Guilford County being Administrators of James Knott deceased having advertised the sale of the Negroes belonging to the said estate according to law did this day sell at public auction three Negroes a woman Viney and 2 children Delila and Samuel Duggins of the County of Guilford and State aforesaid being the last and highest bidder we therefore for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and eleven dollars and fifty cents have sold and as administrators do by these presents sell and deliver the right which James Knott deceased had to the said negro Viney and two children unto the said Samuel Durggin, in witness whereof we hereunto subscribed our names this 13th of December 1824.
