Know all men by these presents that we James Nelson and Solomon Warren of North Carolina Guilford County being administrators of James Knott deceased, having advertised the sale of the negroes belonging to the said Estate according to law did this day sell at public auction a certain Negroe man named Isaac and Risseller Beeson of the County of Guilford and State aforesaid being the last and highest bidder we therefore for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars thirty seven 1/2 cents have sold and as administrators do by these presents sell and deliver the right which James Knott deceased had to to the said Negro man Isaac unto the said Risseller Beeson, in witness whereof we have subscribed our names this 13th day of December 1824.
