Know all men by these presents that I, Daniel Donnell, the county of Guilford and state of North Carolina have this day bargained, sold and delivered unto James Gorrell, one negro girl named Sall, nine years old, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ten dollars. Which negro I warrant and defend from myself and my heirs forever or from any person or persons to the said James Gorrell and his heirs. In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal this 9th day of March 1825.
