Know all men by these presents that I Milla Clarke of the County of Guilford, State of North Carolina for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty Dollars to me in hand paid by Harry Ash the receipt to whereof is hereby acknowledged, have Bargained Sold and delivered and by these presents do Bargain Sell and deliver unto the Said Harry Ash a Certain Woman of Cullor named America: To have and to hold unto the Said Harry Ash his heirs and assigns forever free and Clear from any hindrance molestation or let whatever, and the Said Milla Clarke doth obligate herself her heirs and the Said America unto the Said Harry Ash, to warrant and forever defend against the lawful Claim or demand of all and every person whatsoever, In testimony whereof the Said Milla Clarke hath hereunto Set her hand and affixed her Seal this 10th day of July 1802 -
