Know all men by these presents that I Henry Low of the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina do for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid By Irby Bray of the county and state aforesaid the receipt I do hereby acknowledge have this day bargained sold and convey. And by these presents do bargain sell and convey unto the said Irby Bray one negro woman Rose and her two children Peat and Sam which I the said Henry Low do warrant and defend the right and title to be free and clear from and against myself my heirs and assigns and all other persons whatsoever into the said Irby Bray and his heirs and assigns forever as witness I do hereunto set my hand and seal this 13 Day of January 1824.
