Know all men by these presents that I Thomas H. Perkins do bind myself to James Dick in the sum of three hundred dollars to be paid to the Said Dick or his heirs assigns for a certain negro girl named Hannah which Nigrow I have this Day delivered to the Said Dick and if I do not pay the Sd. Dick the above three hundred dollars in eighteen months I warrant the above negro Hannah to the Sd. Dick from one my heirs and from all other persons for ever the Said Negro is to serve the Sd. Dick for the interest of the above money. If the said Nigrow should die in the space of one year, I do bind myself to pay the Said Dick the above three hundred dollars as witness my hand and seal this 7th day of September 1803.
Received of James Dick Fifty Dollars for which the within Perkins binds hereby to support the within after the first day of October next recorded the Sd. Negro does not die previous to the aforementioned first day of October the Said Dick is to give the Said Negro unto Thomas H. Perkins provided he pay the Said Dick three hundred and Fifty Dollars 15th March 1804.
