Know all men by these presents that I Abraham Bush Sen. of the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina in consideration of the sum of Forty five dollars to me in hand paid by John Willoughby Bush of the aforesaid County and State at and before the sealing and Delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have Bargained sold released granted and confirmed and by these presents do Bargain sell release grant and confirm unto the said John Willoughby Bush a certain Number of Negroes (viz). A Negro man and his family, Will about thirty five years of age, five feet or upwards high of a yellowish complexion. Also, his wife Caty about twenty five years of age of a black complexion upwards of four feet high. Also, their children one by the name of Anne Ten years old. Jax(?) a boy six years old, Enoch four years old. Billy a girl six months old. Also, a Negro man by the Name of Bill about Sixty years of age about five feet high of a Black complexion. Also, a Negro woman by the name of Sarah about Thirty Five years of age, five feet high or upwards of a Dark complexion. Also, a Negro woman by the name of Vital about sixty-three years of age of a dark complexion upwards of four feet high to have and to hold all and singular the said nigroes and Every of them and their increase for ever by these presents bargained Sold Released granted and confirmed unto the only proper use and Behoof of the John Willoughby Bush his executors administrators and assigns for ever and I the said Abraham Bush Senior for myself my executors and administrators all and singular the said Negroes and their increase unto the said John Willoughby Bush his executors administrators and assigns against me the said Abraham Bush Senior my executors and administrators or assigns and against all and every other person and persons shall whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof I have hereunto set his hand and affixed my seal this 23rd day of November 1804.
