Know all men by these presents that we James Job and Thomas Job both of Guilford County and State of North Carolina in Consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to us in hand paid by Ephraim Burrow of the same County and State aforementioned. The right whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and released granted and confirmed and by these presents do bargain sell release grant and confirm unto the Sd. Ephraim Burrow a Negro wench named Rachel about twenty-four years of age to have and to hold unto the proper use and behoof of the Sd. Ephraim Burrow his heirs and assigns against us the Sd. James Job and Thomas Job our heirs and assigns and against all and every other person and persons whatsoever. Shall and will warrant and Defend forever the same Negro wench to the Sd. Ephraim Burrow his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 16th of December 1805.
