Abstract

John Noblett of Burke County, NC sold four enslaved people and an 80 acre property to George H. Hogan of Burke County on March 1, 1843. In the first document John Noblett sells to George Hogan “…one Negro girl by the name of Silvy near twelve years old…” for $500.
