John Noblett of Burke County, NC sold four enslaved people and an 80 acre property to George H. Hogan of Burke County on March 1, 1843. In this second document John Noblett sells to George Hogan “…one Negro boy by the name of Peter near ten years old…” for $450. No further information about Peter or his relationships, but he and the other three enslaved could be a sibling group.
