RAN AWAY from the subscriber, living in Samson county, on the 9th day of October last, a negro fellow, named PETER--he is a well made fellow, about 5 feet 10 inches high, has a large scar on his left cheek, is very active, had on when he went away a short cotton coat, leather breeches, and broadcloth legings. I expect he will endeavour to get to Virginia. Any person who will apprehend said negro, and secure him so that I get him again, shall receive ten pounds reward, and all reasonable charges paid.
