Ranaway, On the 13th inst., my man DEMPSEY--about thirty eight years old, tolerably black, full forehead, and deep eyes--has a scar on his breast or side, speaks quick and is a little deaf. He is about five feet six inches in height. I will give Thirty Dollars for his apprehension and delivery to me, or his confinement in any Jail so that I get him again. All persons are warned against harboring the above named slave, and all Captains and owners of Vessels from employing or carrying him away, as they will be dealt with as the law directs on ascertaining the fact.
