Runaway.- GEORGE WASHINGTON, a negro boy aged about 15 years who was indentured to the undersigned by the Assistant Superintendent of the Freedmen`s Bureau on the 25th day of September, 1865, has absconded from my service and employment, without any just cause or provocation. This is to forewarn all persons against harboring or employing the said indentured boym as in such cases the law will be rigidly enforced against those so employing or harboring the said George.And for the apprehension and return of him to me in Greensboro a reasonable reward will be paid. 72-tf[s] JAMES F.
