$100 Reward. RAN AWAY from the Subscriber, about eighteen months since, my negro boy STEWARD, About 35 or 40 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches in height, and dark complected. He is well known in the vicinity where I formerly resided, in Martin county, and has a wife at Roderick Purvis's, near where it is supposed he is lurking. The above reward will be paid on his delivery to Levi Howell[?], Halifax county. Should he be injured or killed in taking him, the person will not be held responsible. REUBEN S. MANNING.
