NOTICE.

NOTICE. TAKEN UP AND COMMITTED TO THE common jail of Surry county, N C , on the 25th day of February, 1865, a negro boy who says his name is WILLIAM, and says he belongs to John Irvin, of Georgia, who lives near Thomasville. Said boy is a dark mulatto, 38 or 39 years old, about 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, and will weigh about 160 pounds The owner of said boy is hereby notified to come forward, prove property, pay charges, and take him away ; otherwise, he will be dealt with as the law directs. WILLIAM HAYMORE, Sheriff. March 6, 1865. 11--wtf.
