RUN AWAY from the Subscriber, on the 6th of February last, a NEGRO MAN, about 20 Years old, named DAN, very black.  Has a large Scar on his left Wrist and Knee, occasioned by a Burn; has been severely whipped, as will appear by his back. If delivered to me, in Rowan County, near Lexington, the above Reward will be paid; and if secured in any Goal[sic], so that I get him, the Person so securing him, shall receive Ten Dollars Reward.
