TWENTY DOLLARS Reward. RAN-AWAY from the subscriber, on the 29th of December last, an old Negro fellow, by the name of JEM; a tall, slim fellow, blind of one eye; had on a brown great coat, with some patches about the sleeves, and gores in the side, of a brown colour, a grey jacket, and a pair of blue homespun breeches; he also carried off two pair of trowsers. Whoever will apprehend and secure the said Negro, so that I get him again, shall receive the above reward of THOMAS PUGH, sen.[senior] Bertie, April 7, 1789.
