A Reward for a Run-Away. RUN-AWAY from the subscriber, near Salisbury, Rowan county, North Carolina, the 30th of November last, a likely, strong, well-made, round-shouldered Negro Man, named JACK about 30 years old, near five feet and half high, pretends to be a carpenter ; had on a total linen shirt, almost new ; an old negro cotten jacket and over-alls, with some old clothes under them, an old hat, and a pair strong shoes made this winter--he is a very smooth tongued fellow, and will deceive almost every person who has any thing to say or do with him, being a very great lyer[sic]. Whoever apprehends and secures him in gaol so that he may be had again, or bring him home, shall receive a Reward equal to their trouble, and all reasonable charge paid. 76 13 THOMAS FROHOCK
