A reward

A REWARD. MORE than adequate to the Expence and Trouble, will be given to any Person who will deliver the following Property, or any Part of it, to the Subscriber in Waynesborough, viz. A NEGRO MAN about twenty Years of Age, very likely, about five Feet 7 or 8 Inches high, reasonably black, Country born, speaks plain, neither very thick nor slim, but of a tolerable Form; some small Appearance of a Scar on his Lip, near the Corner of his Mouth. Also a flea-bitten grey HORSE, about ten Years old, four Feet nine Inches high, paces a common travelling Gait, trots awkwardly, but canters tolerably well. Being either stolen or strayed from me; the Horse in February last, the Negro in August last. JAS.[James] RHODES. Waynesborough, Feb. 9.
