Twenty Dollars Reward. RAN AWAY, on the 2d day of January, a NEGRO FELLOW, about 21 years of age, by the name of SAM, yellow Complexion, with a very bushy head of Hair, about 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, and very big over the Shoulders. He has a quantity of Cloaths, therefore I cannot describe him in any particular dress. I have reasons to believe that the Negro is gone to Person County, to one Mr. Richardson's on Hico, who owns a Brother of this Negro; and it is very probable that this Negro travelled to that place with a Pass from some person, perhaps in the name of May Richardson, of whom I purchased the Negro. The above Reward will be paid to any person who will deliver me to the said Negro Sam; or a liberal Reward will be given to any person for securing him in any Goal, and giving me information so that I get him again. WM[William] KENNON. Chatham County, Feb.4.
