Abstract
Henry C. Bonner is the administrator of the estate of John H. Rives, who died intestate in 1850. In December of 1852, "by direction of your Honorable Court," Bonner sold Isaac, a child slave in the estate, to one Charles Bonner in order to pay some of the debts of the estate. As the order was never recorded, Henry Bonner asks that the court "will make an order confirming the sale of the said negro child Isaac."
