Abstract

Sarah H. Grant is the widow of Henry M. Grant, who died intestate. She states that Grant died with a considerable estate -- including at least seven slaves -- and that she has not been assigned her dower. Therefore Sarah Grant asks the court to appoint commissioners to establish her dower and assign a guardian for the affairs of her minor children.

Result: Granted.
