Abstract
John Powers presents that, by a special agreement in writing dated February of the current year 1800, Robert Greensmith faithfully promised to "overlook" his slaves to the best advantage of his plantation. Powers alleges that Greensmith neglected his business and "undertaking," thus causing him damages "to the amount of three hundred dollars." Powers asks for relief.
Result: Denied; appealed; reversed.
