Abstract
Henry Eli asks the court to order posting of the notices prescribed by law for the emancipation of his thirty-one-year-old mulatto male slave, named Adrien. Eli presents that he is giving Adrien his freedom because he has committed to do so when he purchased him and because Adrien has exhibited a conduct above reproach and has never tried to run away [Original in French].
