Abstract
Francois Delille [Delilo] Dupart presents to the court that he has the intention of emancipating his male mulatto slave, who is "above" the age of thirty. He asks the court to authorize him to fulfill the "requisite formalities, prescribed by law," so that he can set Jean Baptiste free "from the bonds of slavery."
