William McMahon and David Lynn became securities for a note with Roger Perry. In an attempt to collect the money owed by Perry, the Farmers Bank of Maryland has won two court judgments against the petitioners. The petitioners claim to have no responsibility for the Bank's losses due to their agreement with Perry. McMahon and Lynn ask the court to issue a decree for the sale of the collateral property belonging to Perry, which includes twelve slaves, with "the proceeds of said sale to be applied to the discharge and satisfaction of the judgments aforesaid."
