Abstract
James R. Stewart alleges that seventeen-year-old George Riley, a free person of color, is "both a vagrant and an orphan." Stewart explains that Riley "has applied to your petitioner for a home" and he therefore requests that Riley be bound to him "upon such terms and conditions as may be just and proper."
