Digital Library on American Slavery Advisory Board
The Digital Library on American Slavery Advisory Board is a small, informal group of interested individuals brought together by invitation. The board will endeavor to promote the best interests of the Digital Library on American Slavery through their advice, experiences, and expertise. To that end, the advisory board shall work with the Digital Technology Consultant and Chair in overseeing and making recommendations regarding such items as:
- Additional datasets for potential acquisition
- Project outreach to genealogical, academic, and other communities
- Direction of the Digital Library on American Slavery as a whole
- Potential funding approaches and opportunities
