Know all men by these presents that I John Galbreath Senior of the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina for and in Consideration of the Sum of Three-Hundred and fifty Dollars to me in hand paid by Marth Galbreath Junior of the County and State afs [aforesaid] have bargained Sold and by Virtue of these presents do bargain Sell over and Confirm unto [her] the Sd. [said] Martha Galbreath one Negro girl named Sabrie a Slave which Sd [said] Negro girl I have Sold and Delivered unto the Sd. [said] Martha Galbreath and I John Galbreath Senior do for myself my Heirs and assigns Warrant and Ever Defend the Sd. [said] Negroe girl to the Sd. [said] Martha Galbreath Junior from all persons whatever Claiming or Shall Claim the Sd. [said] Negroe to her or her Heirs and assigns to have for her proper use and Benefit whareof I have Set my hand and Seal this Nineteenth Day of November 1812.
