$40 REWARD.

$40 REWARD. Ranaway from the subscriber, on the 12th of September, 1854, a negro boy named Elias. Said boy is a bright mulatto a little under 6 feet high, round full face a little freckled, well featured, one of his thumbs disfigured, feet not flat like most negroes. He may be lurking somewhere in Randolph or Guilford, or he be endeavoring to make his way to the North West. I will give a reward of $40 for his apprehension and confinement, if taken out of the State and $25 if taken within the State, so that I get him. Any information concerning said boy will be thankfully received. My postoffice is Sandy Creek, Randolph County, N.C. ABNER COLTRAIN Randolph Co., N.C., Sept. 1854. 800:tf Raleigh Standard, and Charlotte Whig, copy till forbid, and send accounts to this Office.
