Two black boys, named Thomas and Phillip, left my house on Sunday 2nd day of December, 1865, without leave. Thomas aged about 16 years, Phillip aged about 12 years Also one black boy named Thomas Scales left about the 3rd of October, 1865. Said boys have been bound to me by the Assistant Superintendend (Asa Teal) of the Freedmen`s Bureau for this district. I do hereby forewarn and forbid all men from employing, harboring, or feednig[sic] said boys under the severe penality of the law. I will pay a liberal reward for the apprehension and return of said boys, or information lea[illegible] to their recovery. Address  DR.B.L.
