RANAWAY from the subscriber, abou[t] the 1st of October last, a Negro man named ADAM, About 20 years of age, rather yellow complected, about 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, has a large scar on his under lip which makes it appear very thick, stammers in his speech, by profession a carpenter. Any person who will apprehend said negro, and deliver him to the subscriber, living in the town of Williamsborough, N.C. or secure him so that he can get him again, shall be entitled to the above reward, and all reasonable expenses paid.
