$100 REWARD. ESCAPED on the night of the 19th instant, while on the way from Charlotte, where he had been taken from jail, my Negro boy ELLIC. Said boy was raised by Michael Brown, of Salisbury, and purchased by me in Richmond last February. Ellic is a tall mulatto, sprightly and intelligent, no marks recollected, When he escaped, he had on a suit of clothes made of cow hair and cotton mixed. I will give the above reward for his arrest and delivery to me, or if lodged in any secure jail. Adress me at Ringgold Post Office, Pittsylvania county, Virginia. J. M. NORMAN.
